This product not only creates a positive hose connection, it also corrects the through-the-wall vent pipe connection to the outside grill by locking it in place.
You can't buy a quality grill-pipe combination and this product makes up for that as well.
Corrects problems at both ends. Use it for bath fans as well. A+++. Wish I thought of it first.
